Project Overview
Effix Smart Energy Management Software is a B2B platform that helps businesses track and reduce energy consumption and emissions. As the UI/UX Designer, I created an intuitive dashboard to simplify complex data and meet diverse user needs.
The main challenges included visualizing complex emissions data, ensuring scalability, and providing real-time updates. I conducted user research, prototyped the design, and tested it with users to refine the interface.
The final design improved decision-making, increased efficiency, and received positive client feedback for its ease of use and clarity in tracking emissions. Future updates could include AI insights and advanced reporting features.
Design Challenges
Complex Data Visualization:
The software needed to handle large, complex datasets such as energy consumption, emission types (CO2, CH4, N2O), and operational data. The challenge was to present this data in a way that was both easy to understand and actionable for users at different business levels.
User Diversity:
The software would be used by different stakeholders, from facility managers and sustainability officers to business executives. Each user group required different views and levels of detail. Designing a flexible, customizable interface to cater to these diverse needs was a major challenge.Real-time Data Handling:
Businesses needed real-time updates on energy usage and emissions. The design had to support dynamic updates while maintaining a smooth user experience without overwhelming the user with constant changes or data overload.Scalability and Customization:

Reflection:
